In rehearsals for "The Rover" at Williamstown, 1986. My character was supposed to do a loud street whistle during the show and my wife, Faye had taught me the basics (she can stop a New York cab at 500 feet). I practiced all the time (here trying to show off for Robin Strasser), but never really got it down, so, during the show, Harry Groener did the whistle for me while I faked it.
