"This is a photo which would have utterly blown my mind if you could have shown it to me in 1965, when The Monkees ruled. At left, on bass guitar, is former Monkee Peter Tork, and that's me on the right, playing my '68 Fender Thinline Telecaster (an amazing birthday present from '7th Heaven' producer Brenda Hampton). Peter and I were playing on the back lot of the '7th Heaven' set, at the party celebrating '7th Heaven's' 100th Episode, November 16, 2000. The two other, unseen, band members were Keith Alison (formerly of Paul Revere & The Raiders) on lead guitar, and David Glen Eisley (Foreigner) on drums. The band was assembled for an episode on season 3 of '7th Heaven,' in which Eric Camden's old high school band comes back to town. At that time, we recorded a cover of 'Sunshine of Your Love,' which we sang on the show. The guys came back for a cameo on the 100th episode, and then graciously joined me to play a one hour set at the party."
