Stephen's first TV series, set in the South Pacific in 1938 and filmed on the back lot at Universal with brilliant aerial second unit footage shot by David Jones in Hawaii. It was produced by Donald Bellisario, who also did 'Magnum,' 'Quantum Leap,' and 'JAG.' Stephen's friend Roddy McDowall from 'The Rhinemann Exhange' played Bon Chance Louie, proprietor of the Monkey Bar, J Jeff MacKay was Stephen's sidekick, and Caitlin O'Heaney was the lovely Sarah Stickney White. "Roddy's daughter was played on one episode by a breathtaking young actress named Faye Grant, whom I started dating shortly afterward. We celebrate our thirteenth wedding anniversary this year."
