"Working It Out" (1990, NBC) - "This short-lived sitcom starred Jane Curtin and me as divorced single parents who meet and fall in love and have to, well, work out their differences. Jane is one of the brightest, funniest people on earth. We laughed all day long and I had a blast working with her. I was living in New York, and I could walk to our studio in five minutes, so of course the show was doomed to a quick cancellation after NBC moved us -- at our producer's insistence -- to a new night. We quickly bombed in the new time slot after doing quite well on Saturdays. It re-taught me that, if it ain't broke, don't fix it."
