This is from an Amherst College production of Pirandello's one act play, 'The Man With The Flower In His Mouth' in 1968. That's me in the dark glasses, with fellow student, Paul Mintzer. I did twenty-three plays at Amherst, including works by Tennessee Williams, Shakespeare, G.B. Shaw, Elaine May, Jim Steinman, and Bertolt Brecht, and it was there, under the guidance of a professor named Walter Boughton, that I worked up the confidence to become a professional actor."
