"I took 'Sisters' because I was close to broke and needed the money. I had really admired Sela Ward's work on the show, and the producers, Dan Lipman and Ron Cowen, were great to me. Swoosie Kurtz was an old pal from New York theatre and I also got to laugh a lot with Robert Klein, with whom I sang a lot of do-wop between takes. Sela turned out to be a sensational acting partner."
