Stephen also contributed a piece to a book called "Letters to J.D. Salinger," in which other writers such as W.P. Kinsella, Tom Robbins, and the late George Plimpton offer messages to the reclusive Salinger. "Letters to J.D. Salinger" is published by The University of Wisconsin Press and edited by Chris Kubica and Will Hochman. Both books are available at Amazon.com.

Stephen's short story, "Ace's Big Entrance," was featured in the June 2004 issue of Good Housekeeping magazine. Stephen wrote "Ace's Big Entrance" at the urging of Los Angeles radio producer Cedering Fox, and the story was read aloud by Stephen as part of an evening of short stories called "Life After Birth," produced by Ms. Fox's Word Theatre in Hollywood.

Stephen is one of the stars of Mark Sobel's feature film The Commission, which takes us behind the scenes of the Warren Commission, the controversial panel put together to investigate the assassination of JFK. The Commission also stars Martin Sheen, Martin Landau, Ed Asner, Sam Waterston, Joe Don Baker, and Corbin Bernsen. Sobel wrote and directed.

Stephen has spoken on talk shows such as Rosie and The View about scientific research that shows how Transcendental Meditation (TM) can be a tool to stop terrorism in the world. If you want to hear more about this astonishing research, click here. (By the way, a few people who have heard Stephen talk about this seem to think that TM is a religion, but it's not. People of every religion practice TM).
